A business meeting was held in China to expand cooperation between Omsk Oblast and Hebei Province
A working meeting was held in Cangzhou City (Hebei Province) to expand cooperation between Omsk and Cangzhou. The event was organized with the support of the Cangzhou Entrepreneurs Association and the city Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
More than 30 government and business representatives took part in the meeting from China, including Chairman of the Cangzhou Federation of Overseas Chinese Yuan Ge, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Song Guofeng, and heads of industry associations.
Omsk Oblast was represented by Mikhail Derevyanko, Deputy Director General of the Avangard Industrial and Production Special Economic Zone.
In his speech, Mikhail Derevyanko presented the investment potential of Omsk Oblast and the opportunities of the Avangard Special Economic Zone. He noted the favorable geographical position of the region, which acts as a logistics hub connecting China and the EAEU markets, and also spoke in detail about tax and customs preferences for SEZ residents.
“Omsk Region is open to cooperation and is ready to offer Chinese manufacturers and exporters comprehensive solutions for entering the Russian market – from organizing warehouse logistics in Omsk to a full cycle of localization of production on the territory of the Avangard SEZ,” said Mikhail Derevyanko.
As part of the event, the parties discussed specific steps to establish direct deliveries of goods between Omsk and Cangzhou, as well as the implementation of investment projects.
