A regular meeting of the Expert Council of the SEZ “Avangard” was held

On April 12, the Government of the Omsk Region held a regular meeting of the Expert Council of the Special Economic Zone of the Avangard Industrial Production Type.

The main function of the Expert Council is to review the business plans of potential investors and evaluate them in accordance with the system of criteria established by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

This time, at the meeting of the Expert Council, the appeal of the SEZ resident Omsk Electrotechnical Plant LLC on amendments to the ongoing investment project to create a steel structure plant was considered.
The new business plan provides for a change and expansion of the range of manufactured metal products, an increase in investment from 495 million rubles to 800 million rubles, a reduction in the payback period and the creation of an additional 59 jobs in addition to 133 previously planned.

As a result of consideration and discussion of the project, the experts unanimously decided to support the presented changes. Appropriate adjustments will be made to the current agreement on industrial and production activities in the near future.

In February 2023, Omsk Electrotechnical Plant LLC, in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation, received a permit for the construction of the enterprise. Construction and installation works are planned to start in May this year.
