Avangard Visits Sinopec Group of Companies in China
On April 11, as part of a business trip to China, Mikhail Derevyanko, Deputy Director General for Development of the Avangard Special Economic Zone, visited the Sinopec Group of Companies located in Tianjin.
During the visit, he familiarized himself with the work of two plants and a laboratory where petrochemical products are produced, including polypropylene and catalysts. The Chinese colleagues demonstrated a high degree of automation of their production processes and laboratory research.
During the negotiations, Sinopec representatives expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Russia. They also shared plans for an upcoming visit to Omsk to discuss the details of possible investment projects in the field of petrochemistry.
Sinopec occupies a leading position in China as the largest supplier of oil and petrochemical products, and is also the second largest oil and gas producer in the country and the third largest chemical company in the world.
