Cluster policy continues to develop in Omsk region

In Omsk Region, cluster policy continues to develop
Two meetings of working groups on increasing the competitiveness of enterprises participating in industrial clusters in Omsk Region were held under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Government of Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko
The work of which industrial clusters was reviewed at the meetings:
⚡cluster of wood processing, furniture and wood products production,
⚡cluster of railway engineering,
⚡cluster of machines and agricultural machinery,
⚡cluster of machines and thermal power equipment.
During the meetings, the participants reviewed the road maps of enterprises participating in industrial clusters and identified the key problems holding back the development of production. The main “bottlenecks” are outdated or missing forest management materials in Omsk Region, “staff shortage”, connection to the city’s utility networks, limited sales markets, as well as the need of enterprises to improve roads and adjacent territories.
Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Regional Government Andrey Shpilenko instructed industry departments to thoroughly study problematic issues and develop effective solutions for the next meeting of the working group.
