Enterprises implementing mentoring programs were awarded in the Omsk region
First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government Rustam Mingazov congratulated the participants in the “Best Mentoring Practices” competition.
The competition is held in the region annually as part of the national project “Labor Productivity” – regional authorities celebrate the success of companies that implement their own mentoring practices.
“Today the problem of personnel is a key challenge. And here the issues of mentoring serve as the main support in its solution. Mentoring comes to the fore. As a result, labor productivity at enterprises increases. This is facilitated by a national project. In the Omsk region, 70 enterprises are participating in the national project, labor productivity per employee of these companies has increased by a third, and the time of technological processes has also decreased by a third. All this has a positive effect on the economy of companies and the region,” says Rustam Mingazov.
This year, the expert jury selected the best mentoring practices in five categories.
In the nomination “Breakthrough Technologies for Increasing Labor Productivity” the Sladonezh company won, the second place went to the Plant of Oil and Gas Systems, and the third place went to the VITO enterprise.
In the “Professional Development of Youth” nomination, the winner was the Omsk Rubber company, the experts gave second place to the Siberian Sausages enterprise, and Omsk Airport took third place.
“Omsk airport turned 95 this year. During this time, a certain evolution takes place both in technology and in people’s behavior, in the profession, and at the same time, best practices are developed. Continuity is very important here. At the same time, there are completely new projects – this is labor productivity, to which we devote a lot of time and attention. That is why mentoring is so important for us – it is both the continuity of best practices and the corporate culture of our enterprise. We provide mentoring in terms of attracting students to practice. This year we have 29 students invited to practice. We want to interest young people, we hope that they will come to us, we try to make their immersion in our activities interesting. We want to raise the right generation that will one day take our places. These should be people who want and know how to do this, and come to the enterprise with the right attitude,” said Oleg Seliverstov, General Director of Omsk Airport.
In the “Digital Innovations at the Enterprise” nomination, the winner was the company “Promenergoservis”, the second place was taken by “Passenger Enterprise No. 8”, and the third place was taken by the “Siberian Bakery Plant”.
This year, the competition included companies that are not among the participants in the national project, but are already using tools to increase productivity and create a culture of continuous improvement.
In the category “Best Mentoring Practices to Increase Labor Productivity,” the winner was the Transneft-Western Siberia company; second place was taken by the Omsk Engine-Building Association named after. P.I. Baranova”, on the third – “PRODO Grain”.
In the nomination “Mentoring in the Hospitality Industry”, the first place was taken by the “Commercial Company “Omsk” (restaurant “Business People’s Club”), the second place was taken by the “Aurora Hotel”, the third – by the “Mayak Hotel Complex”.
In total, 26 Omsk enterprises were awarded in the competition; all of them implement mentoring projects in one of five areas. The winners of the competition will be able to submit their projects to the federal competition.
