Industrial tourism as a means of attracting investment to the regions

Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko took part in the International Forum and Exhibition “InRussia – 2024”.

Andrey Viktorovich presented the results of work on industrial tourism in the Omsk Region over the past year at a panel session organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives:

– the first tourist and industrial route “Industry of Siberia – the greatness of Russia” was developed and presented;

– 12 Agreements were signed with leading industrial enterprises of the region to launch industrial tourism projects;

– 30 people became specialists in organizing industrial tourism;

– 35 students of Omsk State Technical University analyzed the tourist, industrial, investment potential of the Muromtsevsky District;

– the concept of industrial and educational routes was developed and tested.
