Industry Days in the Omsk Region

On May 27-28, 2024, a large-scale event took place in the regional Congress Hall – “Industry Days in the Omsk Region”. The business platform brought together representatives of relevant executive authorities, business support infrastructures, universities and tourism businesses.

Interdisciplinary regional teams presented to experts the projects and strategies for the development of industrial tourism developed within the Open Industry accelerator, and representatives of enterprises presented their solutions on career guidance programs and excursions. Participants in the methodological program “PROCLUSTERS” defended projects for creating industrial clusters.

Governor of the Omsk Region Vitaly Khotsenko said that industrial tourism today is becoming important in the development of the economy and tourism potential of the regions. It has turned into a whole movement, helping to attract investment and distribute the products of Russian enterprises.

Among the main results:

– the final presentation of the tourist industrial route of the Omsk region “Industry of Siberia – the greatness of Russia” took place. The route demonstrates that industrial enterprises of the Omsk region from historical times to the present day have been a shield and reliable support for Russia.

– a ceremony was held to sign agreements on the launch of industrial tourism projects in the Omsk region. Heads of industrial enterprises in the region exchanged folders with relevant ministries. In the future, they will continue to develop the route and fill it with new meanings and participating enterprises.

– the opening of the Representative Office of the Association of Technopark Clusters and Special Economic Zones of Russia in the Siberian Federal District took place. The representative in the region was the Industrial Development Fund of the Omsk Region.
