Omsk Region topped the Rating of regions in terms of the effectiveness of the implementation of the Regional Export Standard 2.0 (RES 2.0) based on the results of eight months of 2025.
The competitive assessment was conducted among 85 Russian regions participating in the export potential development program.
RES 2.0 consists of 15 key instruments that contribute to the formation of favorable conditions for the implementation of foreign trade by companies in the region.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Omsk Region and the Export Support Center demonstrate a systematic approach to the development of the region’s export potential:
work is underway with local manufacturers (consultations, trainings and seminars),
business regularly takes part in business missions and international exhibition events,
there is a high growth rate in the number of exporting companies.
“The effectiveness of the implementation of RES 2.0 directly affects the region’s position in the National Investment Climate Rating, which is compiled by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. The success of the Omsk Region in export policy will become an additional factor in attracting investment.
