SEZ “Avangard” was presented to the delegation from Manchuria
For the first time since the coronavirus pandemic, a delegation from China, a sister city of Manchuria, arrived in Omsk. Today, May 17, the Manchurian delegation, headed by Yu Weidong, Secretary of the City Committee of the Communist Party of China, met with Vitaly Khotsenko, Acting Governor of the Omsk Region, and representatives of the regional government and city hall.
The Omsk Governorate government portal reports that Khotsenko expressed a desire to restore cooperation to the pre-pandemic level. This is the resumption of the work of the Omsk trading house in Manchuria, an increase in the supply of oilseeds and other food products to China. Yu Weidong invited the Omsk delegation to Manchuria.
Also, an exchange of contacts for local and Manchurian entrepreneurs took place in Omsk. As a result, forward contracts and an agreement for the supply of Omsk agricultural products to China were signed.
Mikhail Derevyanko, Deputy General Director of the Avangard SEZ, also took part in the reception of the delegation from Manchuria and established business ties with enterprises in the province of Inner Mongolia.
