The first SCO Sustainable Development Forum to be held in Omsk in mid-April
The first international sustainable development forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which will be attended by delegations of diplomatic missions of the SCO member states, will be held in mid-April in Omsk.
The organizers are the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and SEZs of Russia, and the Government of the Omsk Region.
The forum will also be attended by representatives of federal authorities, constituent entities of the Russian Federation and business structures. Among the topics to be discussed: green development of regions – low-carbon strategies and plans for adaptation to climate change; national projects – a key tool for achieving sustainable development goals; models of sustainable development of regions; sustainable development in the SCO – from local initiatives to global results.
