The Government of the Russian Federation updated the list of federal customers obliged to make purchases from small and medium-sized businesses under 223-FZ
The Government of the Russian Federation has decided to increase the number of state-owned companies obliged to make purchases from representatives of small and medium-sized businesses within the framework of 223-FZ. The corresponding order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The document states that the number of federal customers is being updated and increased by more than 200 organizations. Thus, their number will be more than 3.1 thousand. In total, the number of the largest customers, in respect of which the SME Corporation and the authorized bodies of the regions control compliance with the quota for purchases from small and medium-sized businesses, will exceed 12 thousand, including more than 8.9 thousand largest regional customers.
According to the latest data, measures to ensure the access of small and medium-sized businesses to the purchases of large companies with state participation have made it possible to increase the volume of such purchases by 6.2% compared to the same period in 2021. Their volume has already amounted to 2.8 trillion rubles. The decision of the Government of the Russian Federation will expand the access of small and medium-sized enterprises to the purchases of the largest customers and increase the volume of such purchases to 5 trillion rubles by 2024.
