The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has approved the forms of plans for the long-term development and arrangement of the SEZ
The SEZ long-term development plan will establish the concept of long-term development of special economic zones, including site specialization, work priorities, as well as projected performance indicators for 10 years ahead. The development plan will describe in detail the intentions for the infrastructure development of the SEZ, taking into account business plans for the construction of their facilities and the launch of production. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhrukov.
“Previously, these documents were developed taking into account working recommendations; there were no approved unified forms. We tried to simplify the document forms as much as possible in order to retain only the most important things in them and reduce the time and other costs of their development without compromising the content and quality of the work,” noted Dmitry Vakhrukov.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko noted that the approved orders of the Ministry of Economic Development will certainly simplify and systematize the work of authorities and management companies in the preparation of these documents.
“We see the continuation of the systematic work of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to improve the work of the SEZ, simplify procedures and document requirements for both residents and SEZ management bodies,” Andrey Shpilenko emphasized.
