The second resident of the SEZ “Avangard” was registered

On November 26, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation registered the second resident of the SEZ IPT Avangard: Omsk Electrotechnical Plant LLC.
The application by the new investor was submitted to the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk Region on October 6, on October 27 the package of documents was considered by the Expert Council, within three weeks all parties agreed and signed an agreement on industrial and production activities. Thus, the entire procedure for registering a SEZ resident IPT “Avangard” took less than 2 months.

Omsk Electrotechnical Plant LLC plans to build an enterprise with a design capacity of 14 thousand tons of metal constructions per year for several consumer sectors:

• oil and gas and fuel and energy complex;
• energy and electrification;
• construction of buildings and structures.

The total investment will amount to 495 million rubles, and 133 new jobs will be created. The discounted payback period is 6 years.
