A press conference of the SEZ “Avangard” was held in the House of Journalists

Today at the House of Journalists Viktor Sobolev, General Director of the Avangard SEZ, spoke about development plans.

For residency in a special economic zone, it is necessary to fulfill the conditions for the volume of investments in capital investments – at least 120 million rubles. A resident enterprise must be registered on the territory of Omsk.

The Avangard Special Economic Zone was created in the region by a decree of the federal government at the end of December 2020. It is located on industrial lands intended for production. The territory of the SEZ occupies almost 500 hectares in the northern industrial zone of Omsk. The SEZ is located at a significant distance from the residential area – up to the nearest 7 kilometers.

Four enterprises intend to implement projects on the territory of the Avangard SEZ. The volume of investments in them is estimated at 45 billion rubles, it is expected to create 700 new jobs.
