A strategic session was held to develop the Strategy for the development of the special economic zone
A working strategic session was held to develop the Strategy for the development of the Avangard SEZ. In general, the determining direction in developing the strategy is the main functionality of the management company of the special economic zone. Nevertheless, we tried to determine the priority vectors of development, the growth points of our site.
Of course, the main strategic directions of development are the expansion of the SEZ and the provision of the territory with infrastructure facilities. To achieve results in these areas, the strategy is based on the methodology of conducting a SWOT analysis and the formation of key performance indicators. We decided to take into account external factors that affect the investment attractiveness of our site.
The direction in which our company has been working for the second year is achieving sustainable development goals. The main principles of work on this agenda will also be reflected in the development strategy.
The topic of digital transformation of the SEZ caused the most discussions. Here, the main vector is the implementation of the principles of Industry 4.0, which implies a new approach to production and business processes of the enterprise, based on the mass implementation of information technologies in industry, large-scale automation of business processes
and the spread of artificial intelligence. We decided to further develop this area based on the degree of development of the SEZ at this stage, the feasibility and organic nature of including elements of artificial intelligence in the existing management processes.
Based on the results of the strategic session, we identified sections of the strategy that require additional development. We plan to submit the revised Development Strategy for consideration by the Board of Directors of the Avangard SEZ by the end of May this year.
