A working meeting on investment proposals for the Omsk Region was held.
A working meeting dedicated to the development of the region’s investment proposals was held via videoconference, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government Andrey Shpilenko.
Representatives of key agencies participated in the discussion:
✅ Regional Development and Investment Agency
✅ SOPK
✅ Avangard Special Economic Zone
✅ Representative Office of the Omsk Region to the Government of the Russian Federation
Meeting participants discussed current mechanisms for attracting investment. It was noted that, without changing the overall focus, the priority remains optimizing investor support tools and creating the most favorable conditions for the implementation of their initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to the development of the Avangard Special Economic Zone.
Avangard Special Economic Zone CEO Viktor Sobolev delivered a presentation and detailed the new territory included in the zone. The Development and Investment Agency and the Omsk Region Representative Office to the Government of the Russian Federation will actively work to attract investment to this site.
The new SEZ territory is expected to become a growth hub for industrial and other diverse projects, accelerating the economic development of the entire region.
