Among the regions of the Siberian Federal District, the Omsk Region ranks 5th in terms of industrial production growth rate
In January-April 2024, the industrial production index in the region was 107%, which is higher than the national average (in Russia – 105.2%, in the Siberian Federal District – 102.5%). Among the regions of the Siberian Federal District, the Omsk region ranks 5th.
The growth of industrial production is associated with an increase in output from manufacturing industries, the index for which in January-April 2024 compared to the same period last year amounted to 107.1%. According to this indicator, among the regions of the Siberian Federal District, the Omsk region is in 4th place, behind the Novosibirsk, Irkutsk regions and the Altai Territory.
Positive dynamics of production volumes were noted in the production of: paper and paper products (158.0%), coke and petroleum products (109.7%), rubber and plastic products (110.9%), computers, electronic and optical products (126. 4%), vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (142.0%) and others.
