Avangard SEZ: New Territories and Opportunities for Investors
Yesterday, Viktor Sobolev, General Director of the Avangard Special Economic Zone, met with Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government, to discuss the zone’s development prospects.
The meeting focused on the current projects of residents and opportunities for new investment in the recently expanded territory.
At the end of August, the SEZ’s area tripled, reaching 488 hectares. New sites, including those in the Northwestern Industrial Hub, will be provided with the necessary infrastructure thanks to treasury financing. One of the key new sites is a site in the Kirovsky District, covering almost 200 hectares, which has no sanitary restrictions for various types of production and is located near the railway network.
Negotiations are currently underway with six potential investors interested in implementing their projects within the SEZ. The large area allows for attracting new proposals and expanding business opportunities.
Furthermore, companies planning to open new production facilities in the SEZ are offered incentives and preferences, which can significantly reduce project implementation costs by more than 30%.
Information on completed investment proposals is available on the Omsk Region investment portal, making the region even more attractive to investors.
