Business visit of Chinese entrepreneurs to Omsk

Last week, Omsk received a delegation of Chinese businessmen interested in developing cooperation.

As part of the visit, Viktor Sobolev, General Director of the Avangard Special Economic Zone, held a meeting with representatives of Chinese business. Representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region also took part in the event. (https://t.me/omsktpp)

During the negotiations, the key advantages of the Omsk Region as a platform for implementing investment projects were discussed in detail.

Particular attention was paid to the favorable geographical position of the region, which provides convenient transport and logistics links, as well as a developed industrial base.

The prospects for placing production facilities on the territory of the Avangard Special Economic Zone, as well as preferential conditions available to residents of the SEZ, were discussed.

As part of the visit program, the Chinese delegation visited Omsk Electrotechnical Plant LLC, which is an active resident of the special economic zone.

The guests were introduced to the company’s production processes and discussed potential opportunities for using the plant’s available space to implement their own investment initiatives.
