Chinese version of the SEZ website
On June 22, 2022, we launched the Chinese version of our website. Given the growth in trade between our countries, the potential for launching Russian-Chinese joint ventures is also growing.
Today, China is one of the four main importers supplying goods to the Omsk region. According to the Export Support Center (a subdivision of the My Business center), the share of goods coming to the Omsk Region from China is 12.6% of total imports.
The Omsk region now exports more than it buys goods from China. According to the Ministry of Economy, in 2021, the volume of products supplied from our region to China increased by 13.5% ($119.7 million).
According to Omskstat, by January 1, 2022, 37 enterprises of various industries with the participation of Chinese capital were registered in the Omsk region. For many years, Omsk has been developing partnerships with the small Chinese border town of Manchuria – in 2017, the Omsk Trade House was opened there, where residents of the PRC can purchase Omsk flour, pasta, confectionery, chips, crackers, bagels, ice cream, etc.
