Clusters and investments. Siberian Strategy – 2035

One of the most important points of the Strategy is the creation of conditions for attracting private investment. To solve such problems in the Omsk region, a special economic zone of the industrial production type “Avangard” was created. According to experts, it is on this site that private investors are actively attracted. A set of federal and regional tax benefits, simplified access to land resources, administrative support for participants – all this attracts investors, reduces their risks, and increases the profitability of investment projects.

Now the management company of the SEZ “Avangard” is preparing proposals for the action plan for the implementation of the Strategy in relevant areas.

“The very location among the flagships of the Omsk petrochemistry determined our main industry focus. We believe that the implementation of the Strategy will give a new impetus to the infrastructure development of the Special Economic Zone, participation in building interregional, most rational production chains within the Siberian Federal District in order to maximize the creation of added value within the district, provide technologically interconnected industries to reduce the cost of creating a common infrastructure and reduce transaction costs,” Viktor Sobolev, General Director of Avangard Special Economic Zone JSC, shared his plans.
