Developing Cross-Border Cooperation: Mikhail Derevyanko Meets with Representatives of Sister City Manzhouli (China)

As part of strengthening sister city relations, a delegation from the Avangard Special Economic Zone (SEZ) paid a business visit to Manzhouli (China). The meeting was organized with the support of the Omsk City Administration and the Manzhouli People’s Government, underscoring their mutual interest in developing constructive dialogue.

Participating in the meeting were:

✅Yu Weidong, Secretary of the Manzhouli Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China;

✅Chang Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Manzhouli Municipal Committee and First Deputy Mayor of Manzhouli;

✅Zhang Yangling, Vice Chairman of the Manzhouli Municipal People’s Congress;

✅Zhang Zhijie, Director of the General Office of the Manzhouli Municipal People’s Government.

The key topics of the talks with Mikhail Derevyanko were deepening trade, economic, investment, and cultural cooperation. Particular attention was paid to the potential of the Avangard Special Economic Zone as a platform for implementing joint projects.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further developing their partnership, based on long-standing friendship and shared interests.
