Direct Dialogue with Government for Business: How the POS.Business Platform Works
Yesterday, at the regional Congress Hall, representatives of the Avangard SEZ took part in a working group meeting dedicated to a key tool for supporting the business environment—the federal platform POS.Business.
The event was chaired by Andrey Shpilenko, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government and Representative of the Region to the Government of the Russian Federation.
What is POS.Business?
It is a federal information system created by order of the President of the Russian Federation to improve the effectiveness of dialogue between entrepreneurs and government agencies. The service helps businesses quickly resolve problems.
How does it work? Simple and transparent:
- Request. The entrepreneur registers the request through the Gosuslugi portal, selecting one of eight categories (e.g., “connection to the grid,” “land relations,” “construction”) and describing the problem.
- Processing. All requests are received by the Unified Center—the Omsk Region Development and Investment Agency. Specialists review and route requests to the appropriate organization.
Response times are clearly defined:
- Consultation—up to 5 calendar days.
- Assistance (requires document review)—up to 10 calendar days.
- Complex issues—discussed at working group meetings; resolution time—no more than 30 calendar days.
Andrey Viktorovich Shpilenko noted: “Working with the platform is a significant step in building an effective dialogue between business and government in our region. The speed and quality of resolution of investors’ problems depends on the coordinated work of all participants in this process—government agencies, investment commissioners, and resource supply organizations. This mechanism ensures transparency and personal accountability for each participant.”
We see this platform as an effective tool for eliminating administrative barriers and are confident that it will become a reliable communication channel for all entrepreneurs in the region.
