Governor Vitaly Khotsenko approved the Strategy for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals until 2030.

The document defined the main priorities and specific measures for the balanced development of the region, where economic growth is combined with social justice and environmental responsibility.

You can read the text of the Strategy on the website of the Government of the Omsk Region, in the new section “Sustainable Development”. The implementation of the Strategy involves the active involvement of citizens, businesses, the scientific community and government officials. Coordination of the work will be carried out through the Sustainable Development Council and working groups.

Recall that the document was announced and discussed within the framework of the SCO Sustainable Development Forum, which was held in Omsk on April 16, 2025.

“Our goal is to create a comfortable living environment that is attractive to investors and safe for the environment.
