Focus on Efficiency: Avangard SEZ Studies New National Rating Methodology

The team of the Avangard Special Economic Zone Management Company actively participated in the presentation of the updated methodology for the 10th National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of Russian SEZs. The event, organized by the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and SEZs of Russia (AKIT RF), took place on August 28, 2026, as a webinar.

The tenth anniversary rating is more than just numbers, but a key indicator of the quality of the investment climate at the sites. This year, AKIT RF experts presented an improved assessment approach, which, as before, focuses on three key aspects for business:
🔹 Speed ​​of project launch (compressed implementation timelines);
🔹 Cost level for residents;
🔹 Quality of the environment and services created for investors.

For us, participating in such events is an opportunity to align ourselves with industry best practices. Studying the new methodology allows us not only to objectively assess our own processes but also to strengthen our platform’s competitive advantages.

As a reminder, in the last rating cycle, the Avangard SEZ entered the top 10, ranking 8th among all special economic zones in Russia. This is a commendable result, confirming the effectiveness of our operating model. However, we are committed to continuous development. The new methodology and the upcoming “Business Navigator for Russian SEZs – 2026” will serve as our roadmap to making conditions even more attractive for residents.
