Omsk companies will be able to use additional support tools to enter the Kyrgyz market.

The Omsk Regional Government continues to strengthen cooperation with its Kyrgyz counterparts. As part of this effort, Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Regional Government Andrei Viktorovich Shpilenko held an online meeting with the Russian Trade Representative in the Kyrgyz Republic, the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, and representatives of Omsk businesses.

They discussed the conditions for our companies to enter the Kyrgyz market and opportunities for participating in joint projects.

Special attention was paid to the activities of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund—an international organization created by the governments of the two countries to promote economic cooperation. From 2015 to 2025, the Fund financed 3,696 projects totaling $1.028 billion.

Omsk entrepreneurs were also able to ask questions.

Project financing terms, participant requirements, and support measures for entering the Kyrgyz market were discussed. Topics covered included product certification, logistics cost reimbursement, and the most promising areas for cooperation: industry, agriculture, the IT sector, and logistics.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue targeted outreach to Omsk enterprises and develop specific projects using the tools of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund.
