Special economic zones will simplify obtaining loans

Companies in special economic zones (SEZ) are planning to simplify obtaining borrowed funds. They want to allow them to pledge land plots rented in such zones that are in state ownership.

The authorities have proposed lifting the ban on pledging land plots in special economic zones. Such a bill, prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, was approved by the government commission on legislative activity on September 30.

This will allow businesses to receive a larger amount of financing. This is especially important for projects that are just being launched. This is necessary for launching investment projects that are significant for regional development.
