Omsk Region continues to reduce administrative barriers for investors.
Last week, a meeting of the Council’s working group on investment activities was held, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government Andrey Shpilenko.
The key topic of the meeting was the further optimization of bureaucratic procedures within the framework of the “End-to-End Investment Flow.” Participants reviewed three new plans to simplify services for businesses, which will directly impact the speed of launching investment projects in the region.
✅ What has already been accomplished:
Specialists have begun the second stage of work on connecting to water supply networks and coordinating road junctions—the protection of project implementation roadmaps.
✅ What are the plans:
The working group is tasked with approving specific measures that will not only reduce the number of procedures but also make the investor process as transparent and convenient as possible.
✅ Expected results:
Implementation of the planned changes will significantly reduce the timeframe:
- Connection to water supply and wastewater disposal: from 66 to 20 business days.
- Access to road infrastructure (intersections and road junctions): from 114 to 93 business days.
Representatives of relevant agencies, resource supply organizations, and the business community actively participated in the discussion. Investors were personally involved in the mapping and solution development process to ensure the final changes truly meet the needs of entrepreneurs.
