Omsk Region is heading for a sustainable future: strategy until 2030 has been approved
On behalf of the Governor of Omsk Region Vitaly Pavlovich Khotsenko, the Ministry of Economic Development of Omsk Region has completed work on the Strategy for achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Omsk Region until 2030.
The world is changing. Environmental standards, social responsibility, digitalization and ESG requirements are not a fashionable trend, but new rules of the game.
Strategy objectives:
– make Omsk Region attractive for living and working;
– create new growth points through “green” ideas, technologies and innovations;
– attract sustainable investments that will work for decades;
– support those companies that are ready to develop responsibly.
Implementation of the Strategy — new opportunities for business:
➡️ Entering new markets where demand for “green” products and services is growing.
➡️ Attracting young talents who choose a company not only based on salary, but also on values.
➡️ Opportunity to strengthen your ESG reputation and gain access to sustainable financing.
️ You can find out more in the Sustainable Development section on the Omsk Region Government Portal.
