Omsk SEZ “Avangard” visited a Chinese plant producing pipes for the oil and gas industry

On April 8, Deputy General Director for Development of the SEZ “Avangard” Mikhail Derevyanko visited the Shenyang Shenkailong Oil Pipeline Technology Service plant in the Chinese city of Shenyang.

The purpose of the visit was to study the possibilities of localizing the production of high-tech pipes for the oil and gas industry in the Omsk region in the special economic zone “Avangard”.

Mikhail Derevyanko noted that the products of Shenyang Shenkailong Oil Pipeline Technology Service have significant potential in the Russian market, especially given the specifics of oil production in Russia.

Localization of production in the SEZ “Avangard” can be a profitable solution for the Chinese company, providing access to the Russian market and preferential terms of doing business. In turn, for the Omsk region this is an opportunity to attract new investments and create additional jobs.
