Omsk welcomed guests from Fuzhou: fruitful cooperation and cultural exchange

Yesterday, an official delegation from the Chinese city of Fuzhou visited Omsk. The arrival of the guests was timed to coincide with the ceremonial events dedicated to the Day of Omsk Region and the Day of the City.

Representatives of the special economic zone “Avangard” together with colleagues from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Omsk Region warmly welcomed the Chinese partners. The delegation included high-ranking representatives of the Fuzhou administration:

• Mr. Chen Jinsong, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress;
• Mr. Wen Fen, Deputy Director of the Landscape Design Center;
• Mr. Zheng Yan, senior employee of the Secretariat of the Working Committee on Chinese Living Abroad;
• Ms. Lan Qing, senior employee of the International Cooperation Department of the Foreign Affairs Office.

The program of the Chinese guests’ visit is rich and varied. It includes participation in official and festive events, as well as familiarization with the cultural and historical heritage of Omsk. Today, the delegation has already managed to take a cultural walk around the city, getting acquainted with its main attractions.
