Russia to host second international SEZ forum
The Second International SEZ Forum to Be Held in Russia
The Second International Forum of Special Economic Zones – 2024 will be held in Dubna, Moscow Region, on October 3 and 4.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak will take part in the event:
“Special economic zones continue to be one of the key instruments for developing territories, attracting investment in priority industries, creating economic growth points, and forming entire industry clusters. The International SEZ Forum, which has been held for the second year in a row, is becoming an important platform for discussing the prospects for the development and interaction of domestic and foreign SEZs by the management teams of such investment sites, manufacturing companies, and investors. This year, we invited colleagues from the BRICS countries to Dubna, Moscow Region,” Alexander Novak noted.
The forum will include business meetings and negotiations with Russian and foreign investors to create strong business ties and implement investment projects. Dialogues will also be organized between representatives of business and government agencies to discuss the prospects for the development of domestic special economic zones.
Special attention will be paid to the discussion of the implementation of sustainable development principles in the activities of infrastructure sites. Demonstration of the capabilities of Russian business, industrial infrastructure and preferential regimes will also form an important part of the event program.
The forum will become an international platform that will bring together representatives of the BRICS countries to exchange experiences and create promising partnerships.
