Scientific, educational and youth exchanges between the Russian Federation and China
At the recent forum “Made in China 2025” there was an interesting discussion about scientific, educational and youth exchanges between Russia and China. Several experts spoke at the event, each of whom shared their experience and vision of the prospects for cooperation.
Oksana Kozlova, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Scientific School, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education Omsk State Agrarian University, spoke about the successful interaction of the university with Chinese partners and outlined further development directions.
Natalia Garafutdinova, Head of the Center for the Implementation of National Projects, Employment and Job Placement of Omsk State University of Railway Transport, presented mechanisms for cooperation with educational institutions of China and employment opportunities for Chinese students in Russia.
Alexandra Nepomnyashchikh, chief specialist of the youth programs department of the State Institution of Youth Policy of the Omsk Region, shared information about the World Youth Festival Rally and events held by the Youth Friendship Club in the region.
Mikhail Derevyanko, deputy general director of the special economic zone “Avangard”, presented the project “Friendship Chess”, which became a platform for communication between the youth of Omsk and Dalian. He recalled the successful holding of the first Russian-Chinese online chess tournament “Friendship Chess: Omsk-Dalian”, which took place at comprehensive school 53 in January this year. The event was attended by 2 teams of young amateur athletes (15 participants from Russia and China).
Thus, the forum became a platform for discussing current issues and forming new ideas for further cooperation between Russia and China in the field of science, education and youth policy.
