SEZ Avangard held talks with the Committee on Import and Export of Machine-Building and Electrical Products of China

On February 23, Mikhail Derevyanko, Deputy General Director of the Avangard Special Economic Zone in the Omsk Region, visited and held a working meeting with the Secretary General of the Committee for the Import and Export of Machine-Building and Electrical Products, Mr. Sheng Guofei.

The parties exchanged views on such issues as the development of local cooperation between the two countries, the exchange of information on business opportunities and the organization of mutual visits of delegations. The representative of the Avangard SEZ said that the oil refining, chemical, engineering and other industries in Omsk are well developed, and the special economic zone attaches great importance to cooperation with China and hopes to establish business contacts with Chinese enterprises, relying on the Chamber of Commerce.

On September 16, 2022, the parties held an online video conference for the first time between the committee and the Special Economic Zone, which was attended by about 20 Chinese enterprises.
