Simple rules – how to protect yourself and your loved ones
Scammers often use current news, they introduce themselves as people we tend to trust. We will help you recognize typical schemes.
Do not answer questions.
If you are asked your name, first ask the name of the person you are talking to, the bank or organization they are calling from. Write down the data.
Hang up, find the official number of the bank or organization, call back and clarify the information.
Remember!
The goal of scammers is to trick passwords and personal data.
Do not share security codes from SMS and PUSH notifications, card PIN code, CVC/CVV code (3 digits on the back of the card), logins and passwords from banking applications. Do not follow the links that they send you – these may be fake sites or fake payment system ports.
