The government is creating conditions for the formation of a supply-side economy

As part of the work to form a supply-side economy, a bill has been prepared aimed at improving preferential regimes for investors who implement their projects in special economic zones and priority development areas.

Now investors will be able to receive tax benefits in the amount of actual investments in production buildings and equipment, as well as expenses on scientific research and design development.

Regions will be able to independently establish better conditions for enterprises in certain industries operating in special zones and priority development areas on their territory.

The changes only apply to new residents who register after the law comes into force. The innovations will be applied from the third year of investors’ activity.

Such clear, predictable rules will contribute to improving the business climate, will help entrepreneurs implement projects aimed at achieving technological leadership of the country and expanding the choice of high-quality Russian goods and services, – Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
