The government lifted part of the restrictions on the production and processing of products in the territory of the SEZ

Federal Law No. 71-FZ of March 26, 2022 “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation” amended Law No. 116-FZ “On Special Economic Zones in the Russian Federation”.
The changes so far concern only one point – the list of excisable products that can be produced on the territory of the SEZ has been expanded. In the new edition, in addition to the production of such excisable goods as cars and motorcycles, the production and processing of ethane, liquefied hydrocarbon gases and liquid steel are additionally allowed on the territory of the SEZ.
