The Omsk Region investment team presented the project for the development of the Avangard special economic zone in Kazan

The Omsk Region successfully presented its project for the development of the Avangard special economic zone in Kazan, becoming one of 18 regions selected to participate in the third stream of the program “Leaders in Territorial Development: New Approaches to the Creation and Development of SEZs”. During the internship, the participants developed a strategy aimed at modernizing the infrastructure and creating favorable conditions for business within this zone.

The program was organized by the Center for Strategic Research Foundation and the Institute for the Economy of Knowledge, with the support of the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and SEZs of Russia. The participants had the opportunity to study the best practices in managing special economic zones in the country and get acquainted with modern tools for attracting investment. The Omsk team included specialists from the Ministry of Economic Development of the region, the Development and Investment Agency, as well as representatives of the Avangard zone.
