The Ministry of Economy wants to simplify the entry of investors and specialists into ASEZs and SEZs

The Ministry of Economy has prepared a bill on a comfortable visa regime for foreign investors and qualified employees of SEZs and priority development zones. They and their families will be given multiple-entry visas for up to three years, so that border formalities do not scare away citizens of “friendly” countries – especially after the mass departure of “unfriendly” investors and specialists from the market. There are tens of times fewer companies with foreign participation in the SEZ than those that left – however, the market calls the increase in comfort necessary for them, and experts note a renewed influx of qualified foreigners to the Russian Federation.
