The Russian government has approved rules for writing off debt on budget loans for regions in 2025

The Government of the Russian Federation has approved the rules for writing off budget loan debt for regions in 2025 and a list of areas for spending the released funds.

In accordance with Resolution No. 79 of 01.02.2025, regions may be exempted from the obligation to repay two-thirds of the budget loan debt that arose as of 1 March 2024.

At least half of this amount may be directed to new investment projects, including infrastructure facilities of industrial (industrial) parks, technology parks, special economic zones, advanced development territories, and innovative scientific and technological centers.

Including:
☑️compensation for lost income from the use of investment tax deductions;
☑️financial support for management companies of territories with preferential tax regimes;
☑️recapitalization of industrial development funds and microfinance organizations for the implementation of investment and infrastructure projects.

Thus, Omsk Region can take advantage of this support measure to stimulate investment activity.
