Viktor Sobolev, CEO of the Avangard SEZ Management Company, has joined the Expert Council for the Development of Preferential Regime Territories.

The Expert Council for the Development of Preferential Regime Territories operates under the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy.

One of the Council’s responsibilities is the development of special economic zones: at its meetings, current regulatory issues related to SEZ activities are discussed and proposals for improving legislation in this area are developed.

In March 2024, our SEZ, as a participant, participated in a Council meeting where amendments to Federal Law No. 116-FZ and the achievement of carbon neutrality were discussed.

We have now joined the Council on a permanent basis, which will allow us to more effectively represent the interests of our SEZ at the federal level.
