A data processing center will appear in the Avangard SEZ

The new resident of the Avangard SEZ was TsOD Okab LLC with the project “Construction of an EDGE Data Processing Center in the Omsk Region”.

Data processing center (DPC) is a specialized facility, which is a connected system of IT infrastructure, engineering infrastructure, equipment and parts of which are located in a building or room connected to engineering and telecommunications networks. The data center performs the functions of processing, storing and distributing information, as a rule, in the interests of corporate clients – it is focused on solving business problems by providing information services. Consolidation of computing resources and data storage facilities in the data center reduces the total cost of ownership of IT infrastructure due to the possibility of efficient use of technical means, for example, redistribution of loads, as well as by reducing administration costs.

The estimated amount of investments by TsOD Okab LLC, including the cost of equipment and construction costs, is 309 million rubles, it is planned to create 7 new jobs.

For the implementation of the project of Avangard SEZ JSC, a land plot is currently being formed, infrastructure issues are being worked out.
