A working meeting of the regional team for the development of industrial tourism was held, at which the presentation of the first tourist industrial route of the Omsk region “Industry of Siberia – Greatness of Russia” was discussed.
Let us note that it is planned to present the route on February 29, 2024 as part of the “Federal Practice” on-site internship of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in Omsk in the Siberian Federal District. The meeting was held under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko. The participants discussed organizational issues, the main points of the route, which include the sights of the city of Omsk and industrial facilities, as well as creative “tricks” that will make the excursion into the world of industry of the Omsk region more interesting and more memorable.
“It is important for the Omsk region to have a unique tourist-industrial route, which will be the starting point for the development of industrial tourism in the region, because our city is distinguished by its rich industrial and cultural heritage. Such routes are a powerful tool for the development, recognition and promotion of the region, improving its investment climate,”
– noted Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko.
Let us recall that the regional team for the development of industrial tourism in the Omsk region became a participant in the Open Industry educational program in November 2023. Training in the accelerator will allow the region to develop its own strategy for the development of industrial tourism and excursion programs to enterprises, increase consumer loyalty to regional manufacturers, and also increase the share of young personnel at industrial enterprises.
