The SEZ “Avangard” is included by the Governor of the Omsk Region, Alexander Burkov, among the priority regional projects.
The head of the Omsk region took part in a meeting on the socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation that are part of the Siberian Federal District.
The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant federal ministries and departments. Key issues were discussed, the solution of which will have the greatest positive impact on the development of Siberian territories.
At the meeting, priority regional projects were presented by the Governor of the Omsk Region, Alexander Burkov. The total volume of investments on them is 208 billion rubles, it is planned to create 7.5 thousand jobs.
The first project is the creation of a special economic zone “Avangard”. The volume of investments is more than 25 billion rubles, the number of new jobs is more than 800. “This project is already underway. An infrastructure budget loan in the amount of 120 million rubles was approved for the power supply networks of the special economic zone. There are no difficulties, we are implementing this project, ” – said Alexander Burkov.
The second key project is the construction of a complex for the production of oil refining catalysts. The volume of investments in the catalyst plant has grown to 36 billion rubles, the number of jobs – up to 260. The plant is expected to be launched as early as next 2022.
According to Alexander Burkov, significant investments are planned from the large companies “Etalon” and “Brusnika” in the framework of the project of integrated residential development in Omsk. The project involves the construction of more than 1 million 300 thousand square meters of housing. “The total volume of investments is over 110 billion rubles. The first laying of the stone will take place this year. For housing development, it is planned to defend an application on a government commission in the amount of 3.9 billion rubles for the development of transport infrastructure and the purchase of trolleybuses, ” – explained the Governor. Another project is the construction of a plywood mill by the Segezha Group company with the organization of logging in the northern regions. The production volume will be 200 thousand cubic meters of plywood per year. The project received support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
“These are the projects that, in my opinion, have the highest indicators in terms of social and economic returns in our region,” – said Alexander Burkov
