Avangard took part in a workshop on the implementation of regional cluster policy

SEZ “Avangard” took part in a working meeting on the implementation of regional cluster policy.
The meeting participants discussed roadmaps for the industrial petrochemical cluster.
The meeting took place under the leadership of Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region Andrey Shpilenko.
The meeting was attended by representatives of executive authorities, the regional Industrial Development Fund, the Agency for Development and Investment of the Omsk Region, the Fund for the Support and Development of Small Business, the Omsk Research and Education Center and the Avangard SEZ.
️ The industrial petrochemical cluster, like the other eight clusters of the Omsk region, was included in the federal register of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in December 2023 – the region is recognized as one of the leaders in the country in the implementation of cluster policy.
“The formation of clusters will allow us to achieve a noticeable socio-economic effect and contribute to the growth of the competitiveness of our enterprises. For our part, within the framework of the work of the regional Industrial Development Fund, we will continue to work on measures to support our enterprises,”
– Governor of the Omsk Region Vitaly Khotsenko noted earlier.
During the workshop, participants discussed the presentation of the industrial cluster, reviewed draft road maps and discussed issues regarding registers of volumes of raw materials, components, foreign-made materials used in production by participants in the industrial cluster and labor requirements.
The industrial petrochemical cluster includes six Omsk enterprises: Omsk Rubber, Gofra-Omsk, Acrylic, Omsktekhuglerod, Titan-Agro, and Titan-Lubricants. As part of joint work in the cluster, enterprises are planning to implement projects for the production of import-substituting industrial products, which are included in the lists of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. As a result, the final product will be feed methionine, intended for use in the diet of farm animals and birds in the form of an additive, cutting fluids and polyisobutylene sealing material.
