On February 13-14, participants in the first stream of “Export Fast and Furious” in 2024 began their training within the first module of the multi-industry acceleration program “Export Fast and Furious” of the REC Export School for enterprises of the Omsk region on the topic “Market selection and search for a buyer.”
On the first day of the module, participants became acquainted with the main algorithms and tools for choosing a foreign market – they worked through Russian and foreign sources, identified the most suitable countries for their goods, learned how to find customers using a 3-level model from the REC and check a potential buyer. And at the end we received a ready-made checklist for convenience in selecting a foreign buyer.
On the second day of the module, participants continued their training in an important block about finding buyers and learned how to do this effectively online using international marketplaces; experts also spoke about the possibilities of online trading and the facilitating services of the REC group.
How to check a buyer before a transaction, prepare goods and documents, what you need to know about intellectual property – Omsk exporters learned all this today from professionals.
The module was coached by Mikhail Derevyanko, Deputy General Director for SEZ Development.
“For the intermodule period, the business accelerator participants set out with homework, we wish everyone easy knowledge of the key material and productive export activities.”
