In 2023, the Omsk region developed a package of investor support tools, combined into the Regional Investment Standard (RIS).

The RIS includes an investment declaration, a set of investment rules, an investment committee, an interactive investment map and a “one window” for investors represented by the regional Development and Investment Agency.

The first Deputy General Director of the Development and Investment Agency of the Omsk Region, Galina Goncharova, spoke about the tools in more detail:
“Let’s start with the investment declaration – this is a fundamental document for investors; it contains a strategy for the development of the region and the commitment of the head of the Omsk region to not worsen business conditions. In this document you can find out investment opportunities and development prospects, competitive advantages, support measures and other useful information necessary for making decisions about investing in the economy of the Omsk region. It is important that the investment declaration was developed jointly with representatives of the region’s business community.”
