The Avangard special economic zone took 12th place in the VII national ranking
On December 18, the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZs of Russia, together with the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, announced the results of the VII National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of SEZs of Russia – 2023.
SEZ Avangard improved its position relative to the 2022 ranking by 4 positions. This is the result of the effective joint work of the team of the management company and the Ministry of Economy of the Omsk region.
“SEZs continue to demonstrate stable positive dynamics. This year the SEZ mechanism turned 18 years old. In 2023 alone, 177 new residents came to the SEZ, an absolute record for all years – this is 36 more than in 2022 and 20 more than in 2021. This year, the annual indicators of private investment have doubled – for 3 quarters 339 billion rubles, when for the whole of last year there were 197 billion rubles, and for 2021 150 billion rubles. To date, over 1 trillion rubles of private investment have been made, and at least 5 trillion more are planned. rubles More than 66 thousand jobs have been created in the SEZ. The multiplicative contribution of the SEZ to GDP over the past year is estimated at 888 billion rubles. It is important that at the end of 2022, the state recouped all expenses incurred for the SEZ and today the accumulated positive effect for the budget is estimated at more than 55 billion rubles,” noted Vitaly Altabaev.
The creation of special economic zones solves one of the main tasks of the state – attracting investment and creating new jobs. Well-maintained infrastructure, comfortable public environment, minimization of administrative barriers, government support measures, the ability to select scarce personnel.
In 2023, the investment attractiveness rating included 32 SEZs from 26 regions of Russia. For the first time, the rating included 4 special economic zones – Stabna of the Smolensk region, Ivanovo, Orenburg and Novgorod.
