The government has simplified the procedure for connecting SEZ residents to power grids

The resolution eliminates the need to prepare documents on the implementation of technological connection to electrical networks. Such work will be carried out by management companies of special economic zones instead of residents.

The decision taken is aimed at reducing the administrative burden on business and ensuring reliable and high-quality energy supply to consumers.

The issue of support and development of special economic zones was raised during the government report in the State Duma. As Mikhail Mishustin said, over the past three years, 20 more such territories have appeared, and preferential conditions have helped them attract a record amount of investment.
