Visit to the Amber Plant by a representative of Avangard

On October 18, Deputy General Director of the Avangard SEZ Mikhail Derevyanko visited the largest enterprise in the Kaliningrad region, the Amber Plant, to study the experience of industrial tourism.

During a visit to the tourist display sites of the Amber Combine, you can take advantage of the unique opportunity to visit the only enterprise in the world that extracts amber industrially, get acquainted with museum exhibits and see the mining process with your own eyes.

The enterprise’s tourist display facilities were completely reconstructed in 2017 in honor of the 70th anniversary of Kaliningrad Amber Plant JSC. Since 2009, the company has been among the best organizations in the tourism industry of the Kaliningrad region, regularly taking prizes in the annual regional competition “Hospitality Talent” in the category “Best Tourist Display Object”.
